Neville belittles Chelsea for not being good enough to win the league.

Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville is still not convinced that Chelsea. The Premier League‘s top team will be able to fight for the 2024-25 title until the end. Even if they have the same number of points as second-placed Arsenal, with the main reason being their inexperience.

The Blues, who beat Aston Villa 3-0 at the weekend have now 25 points after 13 matchdays. Third in the table, behind the Gunners only on goal difference and conceded. And are only nine points behind leaders Liverpool UFABET

However, Neville believes Chelsea’s young squad needs time to build up. So it may be too early to push for a run until May 2025.

“I honestly still feel it’s too early for Chelsea to be fighting for the Premier League title this season. Even though they are currently level on points with Arsenal,” he told the podcast.

“It doesn’t feel like Chelsea can go all the way to the title – it feels like Arsenal are the ones chasing Liverpool’s current strength.”

“But what you said is right, Chelsea had an amazing season.”

“Maresca has given the team stability, which is rare – they have done well.”

“The goal Cole Palmer scored last time was amazing. But I still don’t feel they can win the league – Senseman said.”

Neville’s comments are in line with assessments from William Hill, with legal bookmakers giving the Blues the #4 favourites at 14/1 (bet 1, pay 14, excluding stake).

The lower-priced sides include Man City (7/1), Arsenal (11/4) and Liverpool (4/7).
